OUT NOW: LATEST EDITION OF BULK HANDLING NEWS

Bruks Siwertell’s company magazine Bulk Handling News is now available to read. This latest issue highlights the Group’s sustainability agenda, and provides a detailed insight into its plans for action including ambitious, measurable targets.

As one of the industry’s most complete, technologically capable companies in dry bulk material handling and wood processing, we are ready to support this.”

Dedicated customer support is featured throughout the magazine, providing examples of service strategies that are available to end-users, enhancing their equipment’s through-life performance, even decades down the line. “This showcases the operational longevity of our machines and our commitment to developing specialist upgrades,” Jonsson adds.

A notable example of this is a slew dynamic-braking modification, which is available on Bruks circular overpile stacker reclaimers (COSRs). It delivers better reclaimer profiles, less wear and tear on static braking components, more accurate stops and greater resistance from external influences, such as high winds.

Articles also serve to highlight the wealth of opportunities open to operators looking to move away from traditional technology. India’s dry bulk market comes into the spotlight and with over 7,500km of coastline, and hundreds of ports, there are significant environmental and commercial advantages on offer.

Bruks Siwertell is already very active within India’s dry bulk markets, and particularly so in fertilizer and coal handling, eliminating spillage and minimizing dust emissions from these operations.

This year’s first Bulk Day Seminar held in Veracruz, in east-central Mexico, is also featured. It included a visit to Grupo Gramosa’s new agri-bulk terminal, Puertos Especializados Transnacionales (PETRA). A rail-mounted Siwertell ST 640-M ship unloader, which was commissioned in 2021, underpins the terminal’s dry bulk imports.
