Konecranes reach stacker delivered to Linfen, Shanxi in China

Konecranes has successfully delivered one Konecranes SMV 4531 TC5 reach stacker to Shanxi Dingyan Coal in Linfen, Shanxi, China. The machine will be used to handle containers for railway.

 Linfen is located just outside Shanxi, the center of the Chinese coal industry and one of the three major coking coal bases in China. It ranks second in Shanxi province in terms of economy. The powerful coal industry requires strong support of transportation equipment and related services. Shanxi Dingyan Coal has committed to coal processing and sale for many years. The Konecranes SMV 4531 TC5 is their first reach stacker that can handle containers. This is also the first reach stacker for containers on the local market.

The delivery time of the machine was only one month. To meet the requirements of the customer, Konecranes Lingang factory’s different departments cooperated closely and efficiently, in order to give the customer the shortest delivery time possible.
