E-Crane® Strengthens German Presence Through Strategic Partnership with Kurt König

ADEGEM, BE – E-Crane, the global leader in high-performance equilibrium cranes, has appointed Kurt König Baumaschinen GmbH as its exclusive dealer for the German market. This partnership marks a significant milestone in E-Crane’s European growth strategy, providing localized sales and technical support for the recycling, bulk handling, and port industries across Germany.

A Partnership Built on Expertise

Kurt König is a highly respected name in the German industrial sector, bringing decades of experience in heavy equipment. As part of this collaboration, Lars Körner-Konsierke has been appointed as the official E-Crane representative. Based at the Einbeck headquarters, he will serve as the central point of contact for sales, project development, and after-sales service.

The partnership offers a unique advantage: Kurt König is also an authorized Liebherr dealer. By combining Liebherr’s versatile machinery range with E-Crane’s specialized equilibrium crane technology, customers now have access to a truly comprehensive portfolio of material handling solutions.

700B Series Debuts at Brinker Port, Hanover

The partnership was recently inaugurated with a live demonstration at Brinker Port in Hanover. Attendees witnessed the German debut of the E-Crane 700B series, the most compact and flexible model in the E-Crane lineup.

The demonstration highlighted the 700B’s standout features:

  • Energy Efficiency: Savings of up to 50% compared to conventional cranes.
  • Precision: Exceptional control for high-cycle bulk and scrap handling.
  • Hybrid Versatility: The crawler-mounted demo unit showcased the ability to switch between shore power and an onboard generator.
  • E-Care Technology: Integrated remote monitoring for real-time status and capacity tracking.

Tailored Solutions for Heavy-Duty Industry

E-Crane’s balanced design is engineered for 24/7 operations where uptime is critical. The partnership will focus on delivering tailored solutions across several key configurations:

  • Static/Fixed: For permanent, high-volume installations.
  • Rail-Mounted: Optimized for quayside logistics.
  • Crawler-Mounted: For maximum mobility on uneven terrain.
  • Pontoon-Mounted: Specifically for dredging and marine terminals.

“The conclusion from our demonstration days was clear. The 700B series represents a future-proof investment in sustainable material handling—now backed by the local expertise and service network of Kurt König.” – Lars Körner Konsierke
