E-Crane Breaks Ground on New Service Centre in Bangladesh’s Meghna Economic Zone (MEZ)
Bhaka, Bangladesh – May 2025: E-Crane is proud to announce the start of construction on its new service centre in the Meghna Economic Zone (MEZ), a modern industrial hub strategically located near the Meghna River. Positioned in one of Bangladesh’s most important industrial regions, MEZ offers ideal access for serving local and regional clients.
The new facility will allow E-Crane to respond more efficiently to customer needs by improving spare parts availability and reducing transport times. It will also serve as a central base for its team of factory-trained sales and service engineers, who will operate from newly built office and warehouse spaces.
“This expansion strengthens our commitment to Bangladesh and enhances our ability to provide fast, reliable, and locally supported service,” said ir. Lieven Bauwens, Chairman of the Board, E-Crane Group of Companies. “We are grateful for the continued trust of our customers, and this investment reflects our long-term vision for the region.”
E-Crane’s presence in the MEZ marks a significant step in its regional growth strategy and its ongoing mission to deliver world-class material handling solutions tailored to local markets.
