Smarter Conveyors, Better Insights: A Deep Dive into Cutting-Edge Analysis Tools
In the United States, May brings more than just the blooms promised by April showers—it marks the unofficial start of summer. Across the country, communities celebrate with events that welcome the warmth and excitement of the season.
One of the most significant national observances in May is Memorial Day. Originally known as Decoration Day, it was established by General John Logan during the Civil War to honor those who gave their lives in that devastating conflict—the deadliest war in American history.
Over time, the holiday evolved into what we now know as Memorial Day, a day to honor all U.S. military personnel who have died in service to the nation. At 3 PM local time, Americans are encouraged to observe the National Moment of Remembrance, a unified pause to reflect on the sacrifices made.
In observance of Memorial Day, the American flag is flown at half-staff from sunrise until noon, then raised to full-staff until sunset—a symbolic gesture to honor fallen heroes.
As summer approaches, we take this time to express our deepest gratitude to all who have served and continue to serve our country, and especially to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
