Port of Norrköping Ordered Its Fourth Mantsinen Machine

Port of Norrköping, one of Sweden’s export harbours, was strengthened in October when the fourth Mantsinen machine was delivered.

The cooperation between Mantsinen and the Port of Norrköping began in 2011 when Norrköping purchased its first Mantsinen 120 R HybriLift® material handling crane with tracks. The cooperation started well and continued in 2016 when Norrköping started using Mantsinen’s two new electric material handling cranes on rails: Mantsinen 200 ES and 120 ES. Also the fourth machine is a Mantsinen 120 ES. All cranes are equipped with Mantsinen’s recognized HybriLift® energy saving system.

The goal of the crane investments was to enhance productivity and discontinue the use of traditional wire rope cranes. The cooperation was further enhanced by Mantsinen Sverige AB, Mantsinen’s subsidiary established at the end of last year.
