The dry bulk handling market demonstrates a range of unique elements. No two ports are exactly the same in terms of their cargo mix or volumes, bulk carrier ship loading requirements, blueprint, or local climate. Bruks Siwertell designs and delivers ship loading systems that are tailored to serve its customers’ needs, rather than expecting them to adapt their operations to limitations in their equipment.

Bruks Siwertell ship unloaders are based on unique screw conveyor technology with a totally enclosed conveying line and offer capacities of up to 3,000t/h for ships up to 200 000 dwt. They are supplied in rail mounted, port-mobile, road-mobile or stationary versions.

Bruks Siwertell ship loaders are based on screw, aeroslide or belt conveying technologies and offer capacities of up to 4,000t/h, for ships up to 120,000 dwt. They are suitable for a range of dry bulk materials such as alumina, cement, fertilizers, grain, coal, agribulk, sulphur and other dry bulk commodities.

Bruks Siwertell also offers three different sized road-mobile unloaders that are designed to be operational without any assistance of an auxiliary crane and shortly after arriving at the operation site. They are based on Bruks Siwertell screw technology for mechanical unloading and require only one person and 30-45 minutes to unfold and get ready for operation.

Safe and highly functional storage systems

Apart from assuring a safe and professional loading and unloading process in harbours, Bruks Siwertell also provides tailor made bulk terminal solutions. Bruks Siwertell ship unloaders or loaders are often combined with mechanical or pneumatic conveying systems to suit a bulk terminal project, for import, export, or transshipment.
