Description

E-Crane Worldwide is a modern, state-of-the-art engineering and heavy equipment construction company, based in Adegem, Belgium and with subsidiary companies for sales management, technical support and service in The Netherlands (E-Crane International Europe) and Ohio, USA (E-Crane International USA).  E-Crane Worldwide develops turnkey material handling solutions with engineering services, equipment manufacturing, erection, operator/maintenance training and custom tailored on-going service programs for our clients.

E-Crane Worldwide was founded in 1990 with a small staff of experienced heavy equipment engineers.  Today, E-Crane is a leader in heavy equipment design and manufacturing, the ‘Equilibrium Crane’ more easily referred to as E-Crane, has been our focus and is now recognized as the most advanced and efficient grab type crane for bulk material and scrap handling in the world.

We are also very proud that we can offer full service to our customers including: all engineering activities, manufacturing, assembly, testing, technical documentation and all related activities. As the inventor of E-Crane technology, E-Crane has production and servicing facilities in Belgium, Poland and the USA with 8.000, 30.000 and 2.000 m2 of assembly floor space respectively, dedicated to manufacturing and testing the E-Crane.

E-Crane is also staffed for equipment repair, spare parts and training programs.  Belgium and the USA have their own training and preventative maintenance centers.

E-Crane has made significant investments to provide world-class engineering, technical support, service and spare parts availability. These investments support both the existing equilibrium cranes as well as the latest generation E-Crane products. Our European and American dealer networks have been strongly expanded, providing immediate availability of spare parts in more than 95% of the time. Our service department assures rapid response to questions and quick troubleshooting by our technicians.

The “E” in E-Crane (Equilibrium or balance crane) stands for Equilibrium.  The E-Crane design is based on an ingenious parallelogram style boom that provides a direct mechanical connection between the counterweight and the load.  This unique system ensures that the E-Crane remains in near perfect balance throughout its entire working range.  Compared to conventional cranes that require as much as 80% of their available energy just to move the boom, stick, and grab, the E-Crane makes gravity work for you instead of against you, reducing horsepower requirements and power consumption by up to 50% and significantly reducing maintenance and operating costs.

E-Cranes modular design concept allows our engineers to tailor a custom solution for the customers needs, based on our proven core components. We offer five different series of machines based on capacity requirements: 700, 1000, 1500, 2000 and 3000. Within each series you find models with different boom and stick configurations to suit your outreach requirements. E-Crane offers models with up to 50 tons duty cycle capacity due to the moveable counterweight and fixed parallelogram linkage.  E-Crane also offers models with up to 50m of horizontal outreach.

Every E-Crane is custom designed to meet specific needs. E-Crane engineers will work with the end-user to provide a solution that optimizes operations. E-Crane fixed pedestal lowers take up the smallest footprint and the freestanding pedestal options minimize civil construction. Travelling options include rail undercarriages as well as diesel crawlers with electric plug in. The balanced design makes the E-Crane perfectly suitable for floating installations (e.g. barge and ship).
