Continued rejuvenation of the Fednav fleet

 

Four new vessels were added to the company’s fleet since the beginning of 2017. Excluding short-term charters, Fednav now operates 76 ships with an overall average age of 8.2 years. These latest bulk carriers on long-term charter include two 63,500-DWT Ultramaxes, the Federal Island and the Summer Sky, and two ice-class 36,500-DWT box-hold sister Lakers, the Federal Mosel and Federal Ruhr.
