Especially on windy coastal peers or off-shore, it makes sense that the entire shells are completely closed. This way these materials will not disperse under these severe weather conditions. KINSHOFER present NEW closed versions of its C80H Re-Handling Bucket. It comes in two capacities: 3500 litres and 5000 litres.

Durable Re-handling Clamshell Bucket with closed shells, especially for loading bulk materials and industrial dusts ­- for excavators with up to 80t operating weight.

• Maximum capacity due to widely spaced pivots with a flat closing curve. Protection of the ground surface is guaranteed, e.g. discharge from ship and train carriages.
• Long life is ensured due to the use of 500 HB steel in the manufacture of cutting edges. Shell back walls (8 mm, HB 400) also resist highly abrasive materials. Bearing points with specially coated bushings and hardened pins.
• Integrated non-return valve guarantees a firm hold of the load.
• Excellent digging characteristics are the result of high closing forces: 95 kN at an operating pressure of 35 MPa.
