Bruks Siwertell has secured a new order for a next-generation Siwertell 10 000 S road-mobile ship unloader. It will deliver environment-friendly cement handling for an undisclosed owner.

“The reputation of Siwertell road-mobile ship unloaders is going from strength-to-strength,” says Jörgen Ojeda, Sales Director, Mobile Unloaders, Bruks Siwertell. “Globally, the 10 000 S model is proving extremely popular and a great option for many cement handlers, with the bulk of sales over the last ten years for cement handling attributed to our next-generation Siwertell 10 000 S road-mobile unloader units.

“With local experience of existing systems and this reputation, it comes as no surprise that this owner also wanted its cement operations to benefit from the performance capabilities of our road-mobile ship unloading technology,” Ojeda adds. ”Siwertell road-mobile ship unloaders are very reliable and offer an extremely efficient and dynamic operating profile. They can serve multiple ports, do not need any major infrastructure or additional investment, and can be operational within an hour of arrival.”

Siwertell road-mobile unloaders deliver totally enclosed material handling from the ship’s hold to the receiving system, which minimizes dust emissions and eliminates spillage. Furthermore, they have a dust filter installed at the top of the loading conveyor, creating negative pressure to minimize fugitive dust at transfer points.

Next-generation units are powered with a Stage V/Tier 4F diesel engine to comply with the latest emissions regulations and feature advanced digital technology that enables remote access and service support; an invaluable asset when working in remote locations.

The 10 000 S road-mobile model offers a continuous rated cement handling capacity of 300t/h, discharging vessels up to 10,000 dwt. It will be delivered fully assembled in the first quarter of 2025.
