Update on current status of Hitachi Construction Machinery production bases

Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. announced updates on the status of all main production bases on 6 April 2020.

Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. today announced the current status of the Hitachi Construction Machinery Group’s main production bases due to the spread of new coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

The spread of COVID-19 has affected Hitachi Construction Machinery Group’s production activities globally. Especially, the prolonged tightening of restrictions by governments in each countries and regions, such as bans on going outside, has made it difficult to continue production activities as usual.

Under these circumstances, the impact on people’s lives around the world has been affected. The entire Hitachi Construction Machinery Group will cooperate in order to successfully implement measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to resolve the confusion as soon as possible.
